Good palette choice.

The softer hair tones clash with the rest of the bolder choices, as it seems to blend with the skin, but solid all the same.

OUTSTANDING! The Pointy Eared Warrior is BEAUTIFULLY painted in a WONDERFUL array of colors. Metals, face, & wood grain, not necessarily in that order, are favorite features. VERY WELL DONE!

Absolutely amazing work!  He's awesome!  Everything on him is really wonderful, but especially his face.

Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Thanks, incidentally both the skin and hair was painted using the exact same colours but with different ratios.

I love the hair and the armor!!!

Great work!

Thanks! Glad you like it.

Great colour choices.

Thanks man. I aim to use as much saturated colours as I can.

Thanks man! Still figuring out how to paint wood grain.

Really nice job! Love the way the armor came out!

Thanks! the steel parts were a joy to paint, the other parts, not so much.

You should submit to the Inspiration Gallery.  There's only one other painted version of him in there, and yours would make a great addition.

Seems like a good idea. I may do just that. I am glad that you think so highly of my work. Thank you.

Nice work, love how u did the metals, I struggle so much with those techniques.

So do I, trust me, so do I.  I guess/hope some day it may get easier.

So this is my first complete kitbash, this one is made of parts from five different kits. I've made it to be used as a ranger for my Rangers of Shadowdeep warband. Hope you like it!

      Hi folks!

Today I started painting #03836 "Jakob Janssen, Monk" for our friend Jakob. Sending him some good vibes during this time and excited to finish this and ship it his way! I started with skintones and I'm currently working on painting him with a big ol' George Clooney smile

I want to finalize my color scheme but I'm really struggling! Many great painters have already posted photos of their version of this mini and I want to do something different than what's already been done. Here are the three I'm considering:

The traditional Shaolin monk color scheme Iron Fist (Marvel) color scheme? (green & yellow) Halfling Monk (Pathfinder) color scheme? (green, red/orange, yellow with freehand insanity) Others??
HALP! The more options I research, the less decisive I get. Going to check back in tonight to see what folks think since I'll need to decide before my livestream tomorrow morning. At the end of the day, no matter what color scheme I choose, I'll do my absolute best to make sure it's something that will hopefully bring @JakobJanssen some creative joy   I'll check back in soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts & suggestions!!

Metal Centaur Archer. Pretty happy with outcome. What do you think?

My goal here was to push myself to go as fast as possible. Start to finish it took approx. 2.5 hours, which is definitely a record for me. Contrary to my usual practice, I painted the integral base; when I do get around to doing a proper base, I will likely integrate it into the display. C&C welcome.
