This makes me want more Anhurians.  I love that part of the line.  Metal AND bones are awesome.

Your work on the armor and the freehand on the shields is amazing (I'm lucky when I get a THICK line to look right, you did a really good job!).

I love how each scheme really makes them stand apart, even though they are exactly the same figure. I'll also note the Basius stamp looks really good with them.

I think it's safe to say I like your work and how you thought about the basing.

I love these guys, they're so ridiculously versatile - they can be good guys or bad guys (depending on the color scheme), soldiers or town guards...

Before I sold off a lot of my minis, between these guys and the Black Legionnaires I had enough "bad guys" to put a small army on the table, all painted up in black and purple...

YYYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

If you're wondering why I'm excited, it's because I was part of the tag team that cornered Ron and browbeat... uh... I mean passionately campaigned for the Boneshurians so I like to see people having fun with them.

You did us proud.  You may also enjoy painting 20 or so Mountain Trolls.  Then I can get Ron to listen to my suggestions without having to torture-melt his final shreds of sanity with Polkaroo YouTube clips.

Aww thanks I'm blushing  The basius turned out really well. And making the broccoli under their feet into little mini-pins worked also. They aren't technically pinned or anything and seem very stable (sometimes bones and milliput don't always agree without a little help).

Howdy,

My compliments on the diversity! Skin, livery, and shield art... That yellow is a bit bright though... Mayors own "show" troops?

Kev!

Thanks! As for the diversity, it was important to the mayor that his town guardsmen represent the diverse community that they serve *cough*. Yes that yellow is a bit bright. My soft yellow looks a little orange-y. They are nice for standing out though. Maybe the parade troops?

Thanks I owe you one! Love these guys (hence why I obtained so many). I think I have only 2 or 3 of the trolls, and I will probably try to avoid big group paints like this for a while though, it can be kind of draining.

It is incredibly gratifying to get so much feedback though, I'm glad everyone liked them, hopefully this will inspire others with their Anhurians!

Here are two little guys for the new year: Bones vege-(or vegy-)pygmies, sculpted by Kevin Williams.
In the game lore, they are plant creatures arising from infestations of russet mold, so I wanted to incorporate rusty orange- and red-browns with the green.
(And if you're still in the holiday spirit, you can sing a rousing round of "Rusty the Moldman".)
I spent about 2-3 hours on each.
It was fun to play with a few oranges, reds, and purples, along with the greens.
I thought about adding foliage or other material on the bases, but decided to call these two done for now.
      Enjoy!

As you continue exploring the cathacomb, you catch sight of a ghastly humanoid creature walk in your direction. The stench of death and rot lingered around its undead forms. You recognize with horror, a minion of the dark necromancer queen Kiaransalee. This is a 77159, Ghast sculpted by James Van Schaik.

Well, finally painted him - and I'm pretty satisfied. I heavily borrowed/copied from this post: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/84520-77594-solar-angel/#comment-1788530,

It went better than I expected.

I may end up doing a bunch of image dumps - I've painted a lot this year and maybe I should just post them in sets.

This one, though, deserves its own post, I think.  I painted up the Green Dragon Hatchling from waaaay back in Bones 2, showed it to my wife, and she made some suggestions - so here you have it painted up as a Swamp Dragon from the Discworld, as kept by Lady Sybil of Ankh-Morpork.  I gave them a collar and name plate, and since they're a tame dragon, I gave them a few chew toys, including a Rolly Ball just like Rex of "Snake Discovery," as can be seen here:

      It's Krampus time! 🙂
So, the challenge here was to use the Holiday Paint Set as the main/core palette.  Which turned out to be a no challenge at all.  This figure is pretty much calling for a certain palette to be used on it.  Never the less, the fun has been had with this one 🙂
All sorts of comments are always welcomed!
