Today's update with some really good news about fulfillment. 

 

 

 

Hi my friends, 

 

Just wanted to let you know, everything still (or again) runs well. The truth is, we had some issues during the past two weeks...

 

For one thing I totally underrated the paperwork, invoices and customs declarations, for another thing we had to change our bar producer. But don`worry, meanwhile we are again on top of things. The old bar manufacturer was too slow (10 weeks for 2500 bars) The new one made ALL! bars we need for the fulfillment in just two days! Jan made an enormously good job with finding the new manufacturer and it really wasn`t easy, thanks sooo much for that, master. About the paperwork or more precisely the paper war... I pulled some all-nighters... Now the paperwork for January delivery is done and February about 25%.

 

Today we received everything we need for packaging. On Friday this week, all cork products (standart extra corks and adapters) will be delivered to our HQ. And on Wednesday next week we`ll get back the finished holder bases and grips from the engraver. 

 

Between Christmas and New years eve, Hali and I will prepare everything for packaging. Packaging starts January 2nd, Shipping starts January 4th. We`ve planned to send out 40 - 50 packages every working day. This means 11 - 14 shipping days in January and 13 - 15 days in February. 

 

I`ll get back to you next week with another update and some pictures.

Same here!  And glad they got a better supplied on the bars as well.  That always seemed to be the big bottle neck.

January here, too. I know this is a pretty simple project but it's so satisfying to have a kickstarter deliver on the estimate.

The packing table is prepared and we'll start packing tomorrow. Guess pledge lvl 15 and 16 will be shipped in the next days.

 

Shipping starts tomorrow. First out the door will be the Studio levels followed by the Early Bird and January all-in levels. I have a January all-in so.. woohoo!

I have an early bird all-in level, so I am anxious now. This feeling is part of what gets me in trouble on Kickstarter. It is like a mini Christmas or something.

So true. I have to admit, I'm probably more excited about this than any other KS that will deliver this year. It may be less flashy than minis or games, but I'll use these so often. I'll still have to use my candle holders when painting large groups of models, but the old pill bottles will finally go into retirement.

I feel like this was an investment in the hobby for me. Similar to upgrading brushes or a paint rack. It will raise quality of life (assuming things go well).

I am also super excited for this one. Trying to paint everyday in December left me with cramped hands. Hoping this helps with my New Years resolution to paint more.

While I have a couple of V2's, I cannot wait to get these in. It will be nice to be able to stage more minis at the same time, especially when working on ones for dioramas.
