Oh, I received mine last week. Theyre very very nice. I wish I got a second set. I would have but things were so iffy on if itd be possiblr with thr backer kit.

Received my Wave 11 today.  Only opened the box, but they look and feel great for initial impressions!  (See acquisitions for photo)

Got mine Friday. They look and feel nice even though they are not sealed which is a big disappointment.

Won't know until lunch today, but I got a "peach" slip from the USPS yesterday.  Either that or I got something Registered sent to me about something I don't know anything about... 

 

Last time I got a peach slip from USPS it was for someone else's legal registered mail. I was pretty disappointed. (But probably not as disappointed as they were going to be once they got that mail.)

Might have to do some sanding and coating, but otherwise, they look good.

Steven Wrath posted something about sanding and sealing. He said that the rough finish helps aid grip. It's not a problem to sand and seal the outside if you like, but it's important not to sand and seal the inner hole. The raw inside helps to firmly hold the cork inserts. I'll probably sand and seal the outside of a couple of the holders and leave a couple raw to see if it really helps the grip.

Update that the February waves will ship out two to three weeks late. Which would obviously mean all waves will now be late.

I get that he is one dude. Sadly this is my most wanted and anticipated kickstarter and it's disappointing to see people getting theirs on time and then find out everyone else will be late.

I would have been happier if he didn't push himself at the start and worked at a normal pace through the whole delivery process

Sounds like his wife was really worried about him. I hope he gets some rest, some snuggle time, and at least a couple date nights in during his short recovery. I love that this guy told everybody what was happening before he took a week off. Sounds like he'll be pacing himself the rest of the way. It's must be easy for creators to get excited and overdo it early on. 

 

Also, just got my pledge in! They look great. The Grip is the star of the show. I already want a couple more of them. The holders are also nice, especially with the bar attached, but the grip is super comfortable. I'll need to spend a lot of time using them before I know for sure. My first impressions are very good.
