Yeah, I think I should've gone for 12+6, but then I wouldn't have been able to get the cats and dino. And the cats are a must-have!

Filed out the initial survey and jumped from wanting 14 minis to 18. Eep. Decided I don't want the double leopards tho, will never paint them. Still getting the Dino and the beast.

So... the first five miniatures went into metal production today. Currently Kev has sculpted 18 of his 40 miniatures (with another 2 almost done so he's practically halfway there). The nude sculpts of these have been sent off to Tre Manor and mr Fancagne so they can get to work on their variants as well. Things are looking good.

These are the new bards with the reworked heads. As mentioned before, the original bards were before the KS morphed into what it was and were just random minis based on a sketch. Once the KS became what it currently is Kev wanted to match the artwork more closely.

 

As for the neat organised page, my multiple surgeries have held up the pledge manager. We are working with backerkit now to get one organised the more standard way, shouldn't be long.

    55 Feedback #22 - Updates are Back! Posted by Hasslefree Miniatures (Creator)

My humble apologies for the delay in official updates over the winter. As, hopefully, most of you have read in the regular comments it was due to repeated surgeries on the nerves i my face. I am now, mostly, fine off heavy painkillers and missing a tooth (which is very weird btw).

 

I also hope a bunch of you have been following along via the handily named 'Follow Along' button, which links to Kev's Facebook artists page. Kev has not been down for the winter with face pain so timeline wise that all worked out rather luckily for everyone, as my job for the winter was mostly to go 'Look, this is what Kev's done'.

I'm back just in time to start production, which we have :)

 

One last annoying hurdle is the broadband is down, and an engineer isn't out until Friday. I'm using my phone hence the imageless update sorry. 

 

This means this weekend will be image filled mega updates! It also means I want some feedback from you guys if you want to see any side-by-sides or group shots etc of any finished minis in particular. I can also update you on the entire run below, this may take a while :D ...

Hard to believe but it looks like Kev White gained even more levels. He really must have taken some of the backer requests to heart. Some of the figures poses and faces came out even nicer than the source art! For example, Bambi went from looking stiff in the art, to almost kinetic in the sculpt. Kev really added a lot of character with just a small turn of the shoulders, tilt of the hips, and especially the bend in one knee. That said, the faces seem to be the most improved. They're all different and all excellent. Mad props. Think I finally understand why he has such a loyal following. Cannot wait to see the winter versions.
