New update with only one pic... but it's a good one. I absolutely did not expect that I'd want a Ksenia figure, but the living "winter" version looks amazing! The update was posted to showcase her face, which is fantastic, but it's her understated armor that's doin' it for me. That functional breast plate with the leather skirt looks both believable and aesthetic.

Here's an older WIP of the full figure from FB.

No idea what those disks are on her leather skirt but they look bad elf. The knee protectors really hammer home the idea that she's a serious fighter. She obviously doesn't want to die, but we all know she will. At least she went down swinging.

Does anybody else think that a diorama of the living version battling the skeletal version might be cool? Maybe twin sisters who battled for inheritance of the crown, only the looser never gave up her claim.

I think it's supposed to be studded leather armour. I've seen something similar many places, most recently on some of the orcs in the Dungeon Explorers kickstarter:

The closest real world equivalent I've seen is brigandine. This a picture from the brigandine Wikipedia page of an Indian armour called "coat of ten thousand nails" which has very similar studs: Armor_coat_Rajasthan01.jpg

Glory & Base Glory & Base

Look at it! Just Look at it! :)

(The base (only the base, the mini will be available in both resin and metal) will likely be resin only and an optional add-on, Kev only just decided to make the base so we haven't exactly got a plan for it yet :) ).

Arty.

Might be my favorite mini now (The Trooper is a very special song for me).

The PM is getting close. Looks like this one is going to cost me way more than expected. I'd ost some of the last update pics but they look a little to saucy for this forum.

When this was live I was convinced that I would stick to the winter or frost versions of these, but some of the pinups came out so nice. Pin-Up Caoimhe and Niska for example.

Kev's work is soooo good, and getting better over the years.  I am not surprised at how very nicely everything is turning out.

I plan on getting some of the skyclad versions (to paint up as superheroes).

Or give them nightcaps, and say they're sleepwalking?  ;-)

Have they opened up the PM for late commers in the past?

  No sleepwalker I have known goes around nude with a nightcap on.  "Mama in her kerchief and I in my cap" is almost two hundred years old at this point.

I suppose you could paint swimsuits on them and say they're at the beach.

At any rate, it seems to me that a genre of people with costumes so tight they could be painted on is reasonably served by nude miniatures with costumes painted on (which otherwise are rather difficult to find).
