Did any of you get a confirmation email that your package was being shipped?

I didn't.  I've just been watching the BackerKit page.

Nope.. I noticed ghost the status said shipped on the backer kit page while checking something else...

Queries to their help email have gone unanswered...

My backerkit said January 10 or something like that. I live in Australia and really think sometimes they send us stuff by carrier pigeon. I exaggerate, carrier pigeon would be way faster! I sent a message last week through facebook and he said the backerkit info is slightly misleading as that is the day it printed the label but not necessarily the day it went to the post office. So yeah, it finally arrived - about 5 weeks after the backerkit date said it shipped.

If you are trying to message him, go through the facebook page. He answered me pretty quickly.

I was a late backer & did not receive any shipping notification but my postman just delivered a package from them. Nice surprise.

I'll ping them on facebook and see if I can't get an actual shipping date - The last time I ordered from Hasslefree, my order arrived in about 2 weeks.

Ok, on mine where it is a page that says Order Confirmation, the first section says Status. If I click on it, it brings up a little list - Survey is Answered, Rewards and Addons are Locked, Credit Cards is Charged, Shipping Info is Locked, Rewards Are Shipped. If I mouse over those links, it gives me a date where each of those happened.

 

Like I said, he told me that the shipped date is actually the date the label was printed and not the date it actually shipped. On looking at mine just now, the date says 1/14/2018 and I got it 2 days ago. My orders from Hasslefree usually only take 2 weeks as well. They did make it though and they are really nice. I'll have to order some of the others later on in retail.

Weird.. my backerkit page has no links and none of the text matches what yours has ...

Backerkit works the same way for me. If I move the mouse pointer over the "Rewards are shipped" text, a little tooltip shows a date. Turns out it was on 2/12/18. I'll post a screencap of it in action.

Now you want to be careful there. When they receive the information backerkit marks it as shipped. That means they know what to send your way (and it probably has been sent) but it might have been sent a few days later than indicated due to the workload slowing things down somewhat.

The other pledges that I have on backerkit have links like that, but not the hasslefree one - I'd guess my backerkit page for hasslefree is broken. Which makes me wonder about the rest of the status of it.. :(

 

I've contacted them on facebook but haven't received a reply yet.

 

 

edit: i just saw that my hasslefree url is to the final review for the order still rather than the 'share' url with the details link.. so it doesn't appear to have been properly progressed by backerkit (or by hasslefree - who knows) .. 

 

back to impatiently waiting, I guess!

Mine are supposed to have shipped 1/7.   I still haven't gotten responses to PMs on KS.  I'm unhappy.

Yours may have shipped later. My Backerkit said they shipped on 1/7 as well but they have stated in the updates that those dates are when the labels were printed and that the actual ship date may be later. Based on my tracking, it looks like mine actually shipped at the beginning of February.

". The backerkit 'shipped by' date. THIS IS A BIG ONE. I mentioned it in previous updates and on the comments page but I am going to make it more clear here cos people have missed it. THAT IS NOT YOUR SHIPPED BY DATE. There was an annoying misunderstanding. When I view your pledges from my end, it says 'shipping' when I click that button, but apparently you see a solid 'shipped' and even the date I clicked the button. The problem is, I was clicking that button to mean 'Printed off, and in the pile'. That pile has been hundreds deep at times. So some orders were going weeks later. Total annoyance and I'm sorry about that, it's my fault, I have a button that lets me see your pledge as you see it (Which has been very handy for resolving 'I thought I ordered this' issues), but apparently it's not 'quite' the same. A learning experience."
