malefactus
That is an UBERCOOL Orc, ub3r. Are you planning to paint it for ReaperCon of at ReaperCon? I've never been so I don't know what goes on there.

I've never been so I don't know what goes on there. I'm painting it before ReaperCon to be shown there. Thinking I'm going outside of the "Orc skintone" box here. My inclination is a reddish skin tone with purple or"blurple" shadows and rosy skin highlights.
ub3r_n3rd
Base coat was 3:1 reaper nightshade purple/crimson red. Then I did reaper sunburn flesh and crimson red 1:1 with a dip of my brush into the basecoat of nightshade/crimson to darken it up a tad bit.

Rahz
Hmm should I knock this down or leave it as is? Looks too "fleshy" (Caucasian) to me, assuming you're still going for "a reddish skin tone with purple or"blurple" shadows and rosy skin highlights". Awesome flesh though!

ub3r_n3rd
Thanks all! I was messing with adding some nightshade purple glazes to the shadows a bit more last night (no pics yet) and trying to decide if I liked it or should go back darker on the mid tone.
