Any kind of fantasy costume is fine. There's lots of D&D being played, people dress as their characters and whatnot.  The new faction is pirates, so that would be appropriate, too. It's halloween, so witches, ghosts, and Great Pumpkins can come too.  The theme of the con is horror, so dress as whatever scares you.  Just remember that "no costume is no costume" and be appropriately covered up.  And there are going to be kids around, so try not to get too realistic.

Weapons indistinguishable from real firearms (whether actually real or just very convincing) will be treated as if they were really real when we call the police. 

Melee weapons that appear to be real must be peace bonded. 

 

The best and most preferred option is to not include the weapons accessories.
