squidders
Ok, This is my first posting so I’m going to try and take it a little easy... I'll start by saying that it's nearly impossible to find a shop here in the UK that sells reaper minis. I got in contact with the "European distributor" for Reaper and they sent me a price list in Microsoft Works (Oxymoron?) format. After explaining that I can't deal with these files they have provided me with nothing. I have to admit that for all GWs faults, they do have one very useful thing going for them... I can go to pretty much any major town in the UK and have a fondle of the minis before I decide to buy. I know the painted sections give me an idea of what's possible with Reaper minis but it's just not the same. Is anyone on this forum in the UK? Where do they purchase their minis? I still have no idea how much they cost, what Reaper paint looks like or how it applies to minis. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Joe
jenova
Check these out: Spirit Games Leisure Games I don't think they have pics of the minis, but you can definitely buy them there. I've bought from both shops, and I think they're quite good. Reaper paints.... I have no idea

Enchantra
Welcome to the Boards! There are several people on here from the UK. I believe Leech is from the UK. I would definitely go with Jenova's suggestions though.

SOldcorn
Also Ork's Nest in London carry Reaper as do Wayland's Forge in Birmingham. Orc's Nest Wayland's Forge And I live in the UK. (Windsor near London) Stuart
Archaon
will discounthobby.com ship internationaly? Probably, but if he wanted to pay international postage he would probably order from Reaper. As for the paints, I blv you can't get them here unless you mail order them from America...
Cerridwyn1st
My mentor lives in England and he gets Reaper minis. I'll PM Dragonsreach and ask where he gets his minis, then come back here and post the reply. Hope that helps.
squidders
Just in case anyone's interested... I popped into Leisure games earlier today as it's not too far away, there's parking and I didn't have to face london town traffic. It's a very good place indeed... they don't get the 72mm specials that reaper has produced because a seperate company in the UK does the casting, but for everything else, top notch. They have a good stock of minis from most companies and were quite friendly So thanks again Jenova... and SOldcorn... cheers for the orcsnest link, I called them and they do the minis but I challenge you to find them on their web site Windsor or Slough (Slaaaah)? jenova
will discounthobby.com ship internationaly>? They will, but the custom fees will probably make it better to just order from inside the EU......
Cerridwyn1st
Dragonsreach (Mike) PM'd me back and said he'd gotten his figs through mail order via the Reaper website. Shipping and import fees were aweful, and the stuff took forever to arrive. Squiggers, could you post the location of the Leisure Games store you went to? I'll send that to Mike, maybe it would help him. Thanks.
lstormhammer
I've said it once, I'll say it again: Cockneys rule. Welcome to the boards. We're quite easy going here, and as SOldcorn mentioned, we have a UK presence, as well. --LSH, mad prophet and welcoming committee
