Thanks guys!

Since his shoulder skull was so large, I pushed the highlights a bit further than I normally would and I think it really benefited from it.

I also did the same with the sword and axe blades, so it's a bit of a shame you can't see them too well, but I'm learning to live with my sub-par photography skills.

ZOMG.  Simply amazing!  I love the furs under the shoulderpads (and pants)!  Just similar enough to the skull-color to blend in but not so similar that they could be mistaken for the same material.  Epic!

How big is this mini?  He looks bigger than 28mm, but it could be that he's just that intimidating.  :-)

I'm not sure what scale Games Workshop does it's stuff in these days, but if I had to guess I'd say he's a "Heroic Scaled" 32mm maybe even bigger.

Presenting the Frost Giant Heroine from Reaper.

Not my best work, I'm still not great at getting all the mold-lines off these PVC minis, plus I was painting her to help work through some issues I was having so she's a bit on the rough and basic side.
Was still a lot of fun to paint up though, I'll have to get the other one done now.

I have to confess when I pulled this guy out of the core set I thought it was a goblin. In particular, it reminded me of a certain space goblin that backwards talks in riddles he does, mmmn.   So he's green.

Presenting Lysette, a mage from the Bones USA line by Reaper.

Started on this one back in January, but got stuck on her dress so she spent a while in the Cupboard Of Unfinished Things.
Unfortunately, my camera doesn't like her sky blue hair and it's really blown the colours out, she looks a tad better in hand.

Finally got back on to some painting.  It was a minor win, but just basing this dude feels good to be done.  One cool thing i thought was fun is that i put a footprint in the mud under his left foot.  Kind of a small, but cool detail.

      Done.
