Congratulations on the successful campaign.

As I said previously, I just pledged enough for the character minis and 3D scenery pack but I'll see what my hobby budget looks like when the pledge manager comes out. Might upgrade to a level to get the game.

Already overdue and the latest update is about changing manufacturers for the project.

 

Getting a bit concerned about when this will be fulfilled.

Only 4 months away from being 2 years overdue, the longest delay of all my outstanding kickstarters that I haven’t declared dead, and... There’s more delays.

 

This time because apparently the manufacturer has mispacked several items in the wrong packaging.

 

Ironically none of the errors appear to affect the two items I ordered, but all the shipping is being delayed.

 

So Blech.

Looks like they needed some sort of loan, not that this is uncommon for KS games (eg. Middara). Was this mentioned in the Updates?

I passed on this one because of its First Created status, I have enough zombie miniatures, and I'm greedy so wanted more miniatures....

I hadn’t heard of that. No. Though it’s been obvious there has been larger issues happening behind the scenes than they, the projects creators, have publicly admitted to.

 

Unfortunately this kickstarter came out when I was really into zombie games and the survivor minis and scatter terrain really caught my attention, and I overlooked some aspects of the project that normally would have given me pause in backing.

 

Just glad I didn’t go in bigger as I was tempted to.

I don't know if any one else noticed or still cares but it looks like this one is beginning to ship.  Initial shipping in Spain started this week and they are expecting to start US and ROW shipping in January.  

 

Not my longest wait but it was getting there (Plots, Judges Guild, and Ooith still hold that position...)

I was actually surprised to see the update that shipping has at least started for Spain. We might actually get something out of this.

Fingers crossed on maybe getting close to finally putting this project to rest, but now I’m concerned what the final production minis are going to look like next to the other companies I collect.

I am not sure.  the company sure had its share of new company woes.  I will be pretty impressed that they actually pulled it out and produced something playable. I have looked over the rules of the actual game a time or two and it looks like it may have promise (I was never too much of a zombiecide fan, too much combat not enough suspense... strange to say for a zombie game but I'm picky in my zombie movies and video games so it would be logical for that to spill over into my boardgaming experience.  I did wind up funding the base game so I will get to see how it plays.  Since i dont have any other zombie games, i am not to worried about compatibility.

So I was a bit in shock. My pledge showed up in Illinois today with no warning. Was a little worried as Spanish was written on the outside of the box. So I opened it up....

 

....to stay positive and look on the bright side the minis look pretty nice and know I get to learn Spanish!

I received mine in the mail today, again out of nowhere, it just showed up.  Opened things up to see what was there and everything is in English!

 

It certainly looks pretty cool.  but it will have to wait until i either finish Gloomhaven or KD:M before i bring it out on the table.

Any one have a chance to break out their copy and play it?  We waited a long time for this.  Hoping it was worth the wait!

 

soon to be headed to my bench for paint jobs on the minis to get them up to some kind of tabletop so i will know soon how well they minis hold paint!

Still learning Spanish.....

IIRC there was some YouTube reviews floating about in Spanish and from what the Spanish backers have said about the review vids and from their own experience is that the game is pretty good, the links and backer reviews might be a bit buried in the comment section now though.
