Cranky Dog
Got home about 15 minutes ago. Around 2am (Newfoundland time). I am quite happy to live near the airport and not have to drive for several more hours. Exhausted, hungry because of plane delays that messed up my opportunities to grab a proper meal at the airports, mostly empty fridge once home, ate a pickle. TSA searched my checked bag (according to the TSA note *inside* my suitcase) and I'm happy to say my Bones glue is still there as well as all the paints and minis. Though it's probably my two part plastic walking staff that got them curious. I laid it on top of everything, and nothing else seemed misplaced in the suitcase. jsalyers
The Mrs and I got home about 8:30pm CST after our first ReaperCon. We had a great drive with time to talk and admire the scenery. Wow was ReaperCon fun. Looking forward to next year. Heard a rumor there is a spring 'Artist Con'...? Can anyone confirm or deny? knarthex
My bag of Cos Play stuff got searched, likely because of the replica pistol and chainmail, but no notes..
Harrek
I rolled into home at about 11pm Monday night. I wonder who drove the furthest to go to ReaperCon?

Matbar
I got home last night, but was so whupped I posted on FB and didn't make it here to check for a home safe thread. What is normally a 9 hour drive wound up being 13 due to a massive interstate accident. It locked everything up so badly that after over an hour deadlocked some nice policemen came and had people turn around and drive backwards up the interstate to a sorta nearby exit. Then there was the work-around. Oh, and that's 13 hours with no food stops, just gas and/or bathroom. Fortunately I like to travel cheap and so I had sandwiches and other things to eat (plus cold drinks) in the car.

Thanks to all who came up and said hi, listened to me babble about painting and especially all the huggers!! I'm looking forward to next year. But first, I'll catch up on lost sleep...

KytheraOA
Made it home safe on Sunday, but didn't manage to dodge the con crud, despite all precautions. Spent most of today sleeping like the dead. X_x
Mr Melons
Supremely grateful and surprised I didn't get the crud this year. I also want to thank Patient Zero for not coming to the con sick this year.
Crowley
*knocks on wood* No sign of the crud yet here either.
Cranky Dog
Am currently crudless! Already seeing couples with young babies made me worried for the babies. Conventions with gamers is usually not considered the most salubrious of environments.
klarg1
In spite of a ride-planning scare (shared with Cranky Dog), my trip home was safe, and uneventful. Now if I could just set up proper access to my paint station...
