@Beagle: consider that Mythic Battles will deliver way before kingdom death does, and will not have all those really fiddly bits to glue together, invariably leaving a hairy ball of plastic where a mini should be when you draw your tacky paws away...

For me this is about the stretch goals. Whether I sell the box after and keep stuff. But I might as well just buy a bunch of reaper giants and have them now instead of a year + extra minis are nice but when am I going to paint them.

Go in at a comfortable level now for this.  Can always add funds in the pledge manager.  That's what I'm doing.  Half now, half later.  And you can do the same for Kingdom Death as long as you're not looking for the limited availability pledges during the pledge manager.

Yeah I am in for the core, the Trojan set and the Paolo Parente box... I got an early bird so $129. If I have the money when the pledge manager comes out I will likely add the Hera expansion and maybe another core set.

 

Mini wise... 111 (or is it 112?) minis... 11 of them are giant sized. Plus 2 dragons and a slew of monsters. All for $99 seems like a really good deal. And if they are as good as the Conan minis then the quality will be nice. The value is real. As others have said the KD kickstarter has a couple weeks to go so maybe you will find extra cash between now and then?

I backed this but dear god I hate how much of it is kickstarter exclusive. It's such a terrible anti-consumer model.

This is the better deal if you want minis to use with other things or a 1 vs 1 game. Kingdom Death is the way to go if you like co op or solo games at all, I think it's the better game of the two by far. The Kingdom Death minis are a bit of an odd size though so they may not mix that great if you want to use them with other games.

I'm in for $1, I heard you'll be able to up it from there in the pledge manager. It sure is a big pile of minis, and I guess I've always had a thing for naked dudes in sandals.
