Fulfilling Mushimen Attack! Kickstarter by Iain Colwell (last 29 hours, funded, live)

Looks like the funding period is now closed. I missed out on this one, much as I would have liked to get them, but I've been spending too much on Kickstarters this past month and I have to watch my accounts. I do hope they'll be available at retail.

 

So many small mini studios in the UK. Why there more than elsewhere? These currency exchange fees are not huge, but they are annoying.

I think because of there being a lot of real interest in a very concentrated area.  Honestly, I see more miniatures studios in Europe as a whole, and it all seems to be treated as an art form, which is really good.

The first Slug Cavalry green is up!

I'm guessing that he's thinking of making them much faster.  I'm going to use them for Song of Blades and heroes so I'll likely make them Mounted with Medium Move if Andrea doesn't post his PDF beforehand.

I got my shipping notice...  Getting excited for these.  And the most recent teasers with the brown/ivory/yellow mushimen were really well done.  Here was the update from March 4th.  I think we can say "fulfilling" for this one.

 

 

I managed to get over half of the Mushimen Attack! kickstarter rewards posted this week. I'm aiming to get the remaining rewards packed this weekend for Monday posting!

Parcels have already begun to arrive so what colours will you be painting your Mushimen? Here are some I painted in a brown/yellow scheme. Will be trying out other colour combinations on the rest of the miniatures.

Have to say that these look to have a lot of character for armed mushrooms.

Aaand I got mine today.   They are really clean castings, definitely some mold release still on the models (they are soaking now).  I'm happy with them, and I even got a wee bag of skulls to adorn their bases, so that's going to make me so much happier with some of the dead shriekers...  heck, some of the live ones too!

They came in a 3-pack, and so I have three of them...  Someone is going to have a very bad day.  So, counting Fightin' Fungi ones, I have a grasshopper Rider, Pillbug Rider, and now the 3 slug riders.  I think my mushroom cavalry needs are definitely met now.
