03681: Nazera Bloodraven, Vampire -- A Halloween Paint

This is Reaper's 03681: Nazera Bloodraven, Vampire.

 

I love her sculptural forms.  Whichever way she is turned, there is some interesting movement going on.  Bobby Jackson did a lovely job sculpting her.

 

I used iridescent interference blues and violets on her armor.  I am thinking about discussing how I paint reds.

She is LOVELY & somehow sinister at the same time. Her porcelain complexion with the glowing eye & red lips really make the mood & the mini for me. VERY WELL DONE!

very interesting.   The amount of character you can get into a face that small is just amazing.  

 

The only part I think detracts is the sword with the red edging.  It has a tendency to just hide against the cloak and kind of makes a vacuum spot on the mini (or at least to my eyes) if that make any sense.

I really like the face and hair on this one. I've been wanting to paint hair in this style. The face is cartoony which I absolutely love. Can't wait for a chance to rip this off. ( ¬‿¬)
