Awesome iconics! I always like it when the paint-style for an entire PC party is roughly the same.

The ship in the background... Is this for Skull & Shackles or maybe that one pirate module paizo released?

The ship in the background is a decorative, wooden, ship that I bought as a gift for my father once upon a time. He was working on boats most of his life, and really loved the sea.

I just felt it was a nice background for the photo, considering the campaign. :)

Thank you, all.

As for the module, I think it's made up by our game master. Don't think it's following any specific release. The ship is a nice way to explain if a person is missing from a session. They are just tending to their other duties aboard the ship, and did not go inland at that port.

Currently, she is using a musket, range of 40ft. Have to spend a turn reloading after every shot. However, I did not have any muskets lying around. :)

I believe that is a rifle from 40k. I've been using them as hunting rifles for my Necromunda gangs as well. :P

Highest upgrade is a 4 round rifle, with a range of 80ft. Hopefully we'll be able to keep ourselves alive, so it can resemble that in the end. :D

This is my version of a Games workshop Aragorn. I didn't want to paint him as Aragorn since I have two of these same minis so I decide to go for a purple skinned, white haired drow ranger.  I'm going to use him as a swordsman named Vigo in my Rangers of Shadowdeep games.
This mini was a blast to paint, I like how the highlights turned out. Thanks for looking!

So this is my first complete kitbash, this one is made of parts from five different kits. I've made it to be used as a ranger for my Rangers of Shadowdeep warband. Hope you like it!

      Hi folks!

Today I started painting #03836 "Jakob Janssen, Monk" for our friend Jakob. Sending him some good vibes during this time and excited to finish this and ship it his way! I started with skintones and I'm currently working on painting him with a big ol' George Clooney smile

I want to finalize my color scheme but I'm really struggling! Many great painters have already posted photos of their version of this mini and I want to do something different than what's already been done. Here are the three I'm considering:

The traditional Shaolin monk color scheme Iron Fist (Marvel) color scheme? (green & yellow) Halfling Monk (Pathfinder) color scheme? (green, red/orange, yellow with freehand insanity) Others??
HALP! The more options I research, the less decisive I get. Going to check back in tonight to see what folks think since I'll need to decide before my livestream tomorrow morning. At the end of the day, no matter what color scheme I choose, I'll do my absolute best to make sure it's something that will hopefully bring @JakobJanssen some creative joy   I'll check back in soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts & suggestions!!

Sandra Garrity makes some of my favorite Dwarves, and the detail on this one stood out. It doesn't show up much in the picture, but there are some Norse Futhark runes on the blade of the sword in blue that only appear if I rotate the figure 45% left or right. Also, I love dwarves in green.

      Hello sentient painting creatures!

So here's one I just finished painting and just got his base finished this morning and some pictures taken:

from an eighties Ral Partha set of Julie Guthrie figures, originally called the Berserkers, with was a group of different types of fighters/warriors. Nice set, as is all of what the Goddess Guthrie creates.

With this one, I also am using as a comparison set, because I also painted this one many, many years ago. So it was in the eighties, before 1986 when I graduated high school, so this painted version is of an age between 34 and maybe 39 years old, couldn't nail down an exact date exactly:

I started out with the same skin and hair more or less on my new version, but changed up his wardrobe as to note make a carbon copy.  The new figure was painted with Reaper colors and the old version was Polly S.

Anyhoos, always fun to do these little comparison shots!
