Thank you.

Master Phthalo now travels across the country to live out his days with his creator ... Mr. Wiebe.

Great job! Is that a turtle hanging on his back?

According to the sculptor, the creature hanging from the ogre mage's pack is a water goblin.

OUTSTANDING! I just had the pleasure of looking through your work in progress thread...it adds to the effect of the BEAUTIFULLY finished creation. The brushwork, color choices, AND the base are WONDERFUL & inspiring. VERY WELL DONE!

I've done the Big Guy several times, but now I feel a need to do him one more time.

Thank you, all.  Glad to be of inspiration.

Speaking of Inspiration, the big guy was approved and is available in the Inspiration Gallery.

And Master Phthalo is off to meet his sculptor!  Hope he likes it in person as much as he has remotely.

Enjoy, Jason!

Working on the Stone Giant. I'm looking for any constructive criticism but especially of the highlighting on the flesh. Not sure if I am finished or if it needs more highlights on the flesh. Everything else just is base colors and has not been worked on other than that.  He came missing the the left hand and club.

Doing the Young Owlbear made me want to do this old one as well.
This owlbear is the O.G. owlbear off the very first of the Reaper Bones kickstarters. It always was a bit weird and extra insane looking, quite different from other owlbears I have seen.
Also it was droopy and askew on it's base. I drilled into the leg from under the base and inserted a long rod to keep it stiff and keeping the talons off the ground.  Straightened that c***er out,. Far too much as it turned out. So I glued the original base to the new one at an angle. Maybe the angle  should have been even steeper as it is a bit up in the air.
At any rate, insane-looking owlbear = joker = clown = parrot. Time to break out the Napoleonic colours.

It's pining for the fjords! Beautiful plumage, esquire!

Painted up this awesome fig as my first experience with the bones black material.  I loved the detail, and it took the primer/paint really well.  I didn't have any real plan with this one, so I just started with the bear pelt.  I had never painted a polar bear before, so I went with that.  After that was done, I thought blue would look neat with the white fur, and the rest just came together.  It wasn't until I got finished that I realized he looked like a big angry Smurf!  Still really happy with him though!  Critiques and advice are always welcome, thank you!
