Painted this guy up tonight. He was a small one, but rather fun to paint. Chthon (aka a Grick)

The background really sets it apart. It really feels like a DM is saying "You entered the lair of a Chthon. Roll for surprise."

 

I also like how the inside of the maw looks wet and shiny, while the exterior looks matte and dry.

I like how it's hide is kinda dull, but the dangerous parts (mouth) is bright.
