Whooo!  So glad to see you painting again!!!

Great colors- I love blue and yellow as a combination.  they work well and you chose some good shades with awesome contrast.

You might even be able to work your darkest blue into the gold in the shadows for extra punch.  For the base, using a bit of your gold and blue in the stone and dirt might help tie it together.

Thanks. It's...difficult, at best, this time of year, and I had family (brother in-law) visiting over the summer. So, not much painting getting done then, either.

I like the dragon, and I really like the base. However, I do not like the dragon on the base. It's probably just me, but the asymmetrical placement bothers me.

That is a way neat base. I like the fragmented sculpted face. The dragon looks like it's made of brass!
