Well, that was...a delightful excursion.

 

Woke up at 3:30 so I could take MrBoot to the local airport, then spent about 15 minutes with a rubber broom/mop and a long ice scraper unburying and deicing the minivan, which hasn't been moved in about a week. It's actually the first time that broom has come in handy, and sped the process up considerably.

 

I then spent a tense 45 minutes crawling to the airport (with trucks happily zipping by me on the surprisingly well-cleared freeway), dropped off MrBoot, then spent just as long trundling back. It's usually a 40 minute round trip. :P

 

Sure, I was probably overly cautious, but I have yet to slide off the road or into something while driving like a nervous grandma in snowy conditions, so I shall continue to do so. I've had too many friends experience black ice the hard way, and it's definitely icy out there.

 

I'm gonna take a few minutes to let the adrenaline settle down, then I'm going back to bed.

Oh Bollocks, I've become a Kickstarter Superbacker. Now I'm marked a bloody wanker for all to see.

  The question I was going to ask has been asked and answered. Let this serve as a warning for all. Thou shall not back more than 9 kickstarters. 9 kickstarters is the number to back and you shall be safe from the superbacker moniker abomination.

The Kingdom Builder app on my iPad is rather addictive....

It's 2:22pm in the UK. I'm the only one in the office. All I could think of doing to alleviate the boredom was to rearrange my boss' work in her folders.
