Hello everyone, I completed this model last night. 14124 Kevis the Overlords Mage was sculpted by Chaz Elliott. This guy will be an evil evoker NPC in a campaign I'll be running.

One of the three from #2550. Been a while since I've touched a paint brush. Tried to use up as much of my old Ral Partha paints from LOOOOOOOOOONG ago. I made zero attempt to make him pretty. But there wasn't enough to give him that LARP image at a renaissance fair.

Working on something new.
I don't paint many large scale minis, so thought I'd make a thread.
Like all the newer Kingdom Death holiday releases, you get a large display mini and a smaller gaming mini, in this case it's range regular Aya as some sort of adventuring barmaid.
I made a little start to the larger Aya:-
Working on her barrel as it will involve lots of messy drybrushing. So far the barrel has had a basecoat of Parasite Brown/Ochre Yellow, the barrel stand is a base of Parasite Brown/Scarlett Red and the fancy end is Bronze. It then all got a good coat of Brown Wash.

Hello everyone, I completed another mummy last night. 14280, Chosen of Sokar the Nefsokar Sergeant sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. Another amazing model, full of nice ornaments and sporting a crocodile head. Once again, I used the nnm technique and opted for purple clothes to distinguish it from the other mummies I recently painted.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of 14098, Khufu the Nefsokar Warlord sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
This Warlord model is one of my all time favorite miniature, the scorpions on the axe, headpiece and necklace are fabulous.
The storyline behind this mini is also fantastic.
