Good work!

You might want to take some black paint and do around the edges of the base though to give it a more 'finished' look...

That's probably something that I'll do today if I have the energy for it, but I just wanted it done so that I can move on to other things. I think I have a new victim already.

Great job! Verdigris and rust looks very realistic, kudos on those. And the base is simple but effective. Very well done.

Edit: As a little advice, orange spots, areas on or at the edges of dark blotches work well with very rusty metal objects.. The corners, edges and pointy parts etc. tend to corrode more so they could be more orangey..

Check these out for examples:

Rusty Blade

Rusty Shield

Rusty Helmet

Awesome, thanks for the advice! ::D:  That's why I'm using the DDM miniatures, they're a cheap way to experiment techniques on. Next time I'll use more Citadel Ryza Rust on them.

      I created a little Graveyard.
The Crypt and the Raven are resin models from Minimonsters, the Skeleton rising from the grave is 02043 from Reaper.
The Tombstones and Fence are from the Reaper Bones III Graveyard Set.
The pathway was made with Milliput and I used the Greenstuffworld Cobblestone Rollerpin on it.

      Enjoy!

For my Children of the Night Project I'm building a Gothic style Undead army with some Demon allies.

Here is the Necropolis Command Group I will use as a Command for a regiment later.

Hi there.  I've got a boney baddie for you all today.  I was disappointed by the official mini offerings for a Skull Lord (a skeletal warrior with 3 heads), and it seemed like the perfect candidate for a bit of conversion.  A few citadel skulls later and...

For the observant viewer, you'll notice the Skeletal Champion's original head at the bottom of the bone pile.  His skull was a bit too bulky compared to the citadel skulls and the sculpt didn't really leave enough room for three heads so I had to cut away some of the shoulder armor.

All said, this was a pretty simple conversion and will make for a fun fight in the future.
