Ejrvindr the Far Seeing & Dagrun Arnholdt'sdottir, Frostgrave Warband Beginning

They look great; good work on them. I hope to be able to see them across the table some day.

Thanks!

I hope that too!

I have the GW ruined Imperial city from 40K still on the sprues.... I wonder how those would look for Frostgrave????

Going to need to start thinking about terrain.....

I think the colour scheme works very well for both guys and your subdued paintign style gives them a naturalistic appearance. I also like the base. The snow looks slushy and thus matches the background of Frostgrave well. What snow product did you use for the effect?

Wow, I learned something new today. The final effect is indeed great and it complemented your brilliant painting splendidly.

The old corner ruins from the starter set, or the newer building sets?

The old corner pieces would look fine, there's no techy stuff on them. The newer sets can work, but there is a lot of techy stuff in there you'd need to avoid using.

Hi there, this is my first attempt at OSL. I was going for drama, but it does seem a little heavy handed. I learned alot painting it. I'm fairly pleased with it.
Feedback and questions welcome. Thanks for looking!

While watching Ks Bones V, I was painting in front of my PC.
Here, the second one I painted.

My hommage to my favourite Disney movie growing up. I guess my fascination for wizards started here, to later mature with Gandalf and Raistlin.

I realize its a busy mini diorama, I did it that way to try convey the look of Merlin's room on the movie. Yet, I think the photos are quite bad.

The chibi smallworld minis are all based on existing normal minis in the Reaper lines. I recognized five of them from the minis I have from earlier Bones kickstarters, but not Arnise the female barbarian elf that I painted the other day.
The reason being that the original was included in the Bones 4 core set. An older metal mini being redone into Bones material it seems.

So I painted her in a similar scheme.

The metal version is called Arnise, Elven Sergeant from the Warlord line, and represents the Sergeant of Almirithil's frenzied half-elven berserkers in the Warlord lore.

Why hello there, you remind me of someone I once knew...
