Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that we have a new Kickstarter project beginning on the 26th of December... we're looking to fund some more anthro animal miniatures, and a terrain set... and we're doing it a little differently this time, as we are only going to be live for 24 hours!

Here's a link to the KS video if you want to hear me and Jo randomly waffling at a camera, and below that are a few pics of the type of thing we're hoping to fund...

I will attempt to pull myself out of my turkey coma long enough to pledge  ::):

Any bunnies?????

There's a Hare Warrioress... haven't sorted the photo yet though!

Hey...are there any reviews of gameplay out there? These miniatures are amazing, but I haven't actually found a lot of opinions on the rules.

Well, I like them, but then I'm biased... you can download the .pdf version free though, so you can have a look for yourself. And if you do, and have any feedback, it'll be gratefully received; I'm writing the 2nd edition now. Can't say too much at the mo, but a games publisher really likes the game, and has asked if they can publish the 2nd edition... Won't be published for about 18 months though!

*closes her eyes and crosses her fingers* " please let there be meerkats."

Sadly, no... they're not on the list! Sorry! I'm really having to try and make sure I've covered all the basic options thoroghly before I get more exotic. So , meerkats one day; but not yet...

The middle of the terrain looks very Gallifreyan. Does it say "Oathsworn" in Gallifreyan?

(edit)

Oh nice! The middle swaps out...

Not sure about the summoning circle being Gallifreyan...just Googled 'Gallifreyan' on images, and you're right, I must have been channeling The Doctor when I sculpted it  ::): ...I engraved a pentagram, then added astrological symbols representing the Earth, the Moon and the Sun.

The centre section is removable too, I've made an altar and a bubbling pool to complete the set...oh and talking about saying 'Oathsworn', I've engraved Elder Futhark runes on the standing stones which spell out 'Oathsworn'...so cool! Wasn't sure if I could do it when I had the idea because Oathsworn is 9 letters long and I really wanted to use 8 stones, but then I discovered that in the Elder Futhark the 'T' and 'H' are a single letter (the 'Thorn') so I was well chuffed  ::D:

You put mystic writing(with a meaning, not just random symbols) on 7+1 stones placed in a mystic circle?

Haven't you ever read 'The Colour of Magic' or 'The Light Fantastic'?

I keep trying to send you my wallet, but it won't fit in the USB port.

Push harder! At least that's what my parents do when they can't get something to fit the USB port; I've had to replace several over the years...  :grr:

Will there be any merchant type critters? Or non-combative critters? ^__^

Not many, I'm afraid - they're just not particularly popular. There's a Mouse Scribe, who's not on the page at the start, but might just show up before the 24 hours end...  :;):

The 24 hour campaign is an interesting idea. I'm curious to see how that works out for you. I'm working that day so I don't know how closely I'll be able to follow it.

Yeah, we're not sure how it'll work out either... especially with the Christmas timing. But I figure if it doesn't work, we've only lost a day, so why not try it out?

What's the all-in buy-in?

All the minis is £42, all the minis and the terrain is £60... there's a link below to the preview page, which might help.

It was all part of our plan to get first-hand inspiration for a 'Denizens of the Dungeon Dimensions' project...  :;):

This is the 22nd project my wife and I have worked side by side together on. Posted tbis on Facebook but first time adding our project to the forums. I hope you like our Interpretation of the KS  Mammoth not sure if the is a SKU for it. C&C more than welcome. Felt with it being a mammoth a more wintery theme should be more in keeping. Enjoy. Stay safe in these troubled times.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
