Brave Sir Robin-Scaredy Cat- DSM8018

Recommended Posts

Since I tossed a vacation into the middle of working on this mini, it has been a tough time getting

back to it.  I usually love all things Dark Sword; however the assembly of this mini left a LOT to be

desired. The arms and shield were next to impossible.  Once some pre-painting, and the shield was in place

things moved along better.  It became a great deal of fun by the end.  I tried to keep the basing simple,

I want the attention going to the "Brave Cat", and his display of emotion.

So here is Brave Sir Robin - Scaredy Cat.

Fantastic job! I really like how the shield turned out and I am ashamed to say that I had never noticed the butterfly until now.

Don't feel bad about the Butterfly, I only figured it out when I hit it with the brown liner !

LOL

Its a fun creature.  Always a little surprise with the critters !

Thanks again.

Another great job!

He looks suitably afraid.

Thanks Xherman1964 !

Glad you like him, took a bit to get him completed.

He's a lot of fun once you have him assembled.

Cat color choices are paramount in completing the mini.

I'd forgotten how difficult a tabby was.  LOL

I'm off to choose the next mini.  Think I'll stay away from the anthropomorphic figures for a bit.

Want something to set my teeth in, and go all out on the basing !

He came out great!

I'm still working on my first cat from Dark Sword.

Thanks Jasper_the_2nd !

He's a challenge to put together, but once you get rolling he's a lot of fun.

There are a lot of little details you can toss in, gold edging on the armor (did that,

and didn't care for it), switched to silver.  Looking forward to seeing yours completed !!!

Hi everyone, here is a picture of the Cat Critter Group. I'm taking a short break and I'll be working on these guys base.
I will mount them on 2 inches square base and then build a diorama with inserts to display them. The same kind of display I made for the Fox Critter, except I won't be using magnets.
My plan is to build a ruined castle throne room where nature has regained it rights. This why I can manage to blend the miniatures base in the scenery. Let me know what you think about this idea.

Hi everyone, here is DSM8028, Miss Bean the Cthulhu Cat Ninja. This six-piece model was sculpted by David Summers for Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms Anthropomorphic Animals line. I glued all the pieces together before painting the model. The different parts are; the body, the tail, the scabbard, the arm that holds the katana and the two wings.

PuzzleLock is 3d printable terrain for creating dimensional maps for your RPG games. The tiles connect together on the tabletop like a jigsaw puzzle! I have already created and tested PuzzleLock Caves and PuzzleLock Dungeons, now I am running a Kickstarter to raise funds to create additional playsets.  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zandoria/puzzlelock-playsets
We are 298% funded in our second week! I hope that you will check it out!
