On the DF website they have a link to the European web site/store that is run over in the United Kingdom by a guy that goes by Thod.  He brings in stock when each KS delivers but I do not believe DF has any KS distributor.

I think the KS is a catch 22 from a European stand point, they need a KS distributor to increase KS precipitation in Europe but for it to make financial sense they would need European precipitation to be huge.

They did do dungeons first up. Now they are revisiting with 3 years further knowledge of dwarvenite manufacturing and sculpting experience behind them. It is gonna be like day and night. The KSI pieces were very very simple. These should be far better.

And a pro tip for using DF and the partial squares on wall and corner pieces is: If you want a more cramped environment, rule that all partial squares do not exist, if you want a bigger environment, say all partial squares are actual full squares. It makes a huge difference in movement and the like.

I am in Japan, so 40% of my order goes to shipping most times. It is a ton of money, I grant, but the product is really good and frankly everything has that huge shipping markup. I imagine in Europe it would be easier to get stuff from another EU country and save on shipping.

Sorry I meant the Secret Weapon / Reaper collaboration on Dungeon tiles with the mines theme (see the thread in this forum) could probably have done dungeon which they decided not to do because of dwarves forge.

I am going to be interested to see the price comparison.

HornedTurtle, I just read through the KS posting guidelines and I don't see that stated anywhere.  I do not however believe they have announced a  launch date.  My guess would be March as that is their traditional launch date.

Bassed on the very few pieces they have revealed so far it seems as they are going for almost a Dwarven dungeon look not that it could not represent any dungeon.  I have a ton of KS1 dungeons, but I will probably pick up 2 or 3 sets and some decor stuff.

I would love to see a Secret Weapon / Reaper dungeon set.  The way I look at it the more variety and options the better.

So many things I hope to see in this KS. I would like:

1. Walls with metal in them (to hang magnet decor on).

2. Walls with LED sockets.

3. Dwarven Ruins

4. Castle moat set

5. A fantasy floor set

6. A mega floor set

7. Advanced Tudor building sets

8. Pieces that get you out of the 2x2" grid.

9. A lot of decor

10. Fun things I can't even think of.

It sounds like they are way ahead this time with "over a hundred sculpts already sent to China for prototyping".

"We’re pleased to announce our plans to launch our 5th Kickstarter later this spring (probably in May, but the firm date is still TBD). The focus of this year’s campaign is taking us back underground into the dungeon! We’ll be posting some initial photos here from time to time and would love to hear your thoughts!"
