So after several days of tag with UPS (why do they only deliver during my work hours and not leave it when I sign off on it). At least my wife was able to drive to their hub an hour away and get it yesterday. My big splurge was the Khri burrows and they look great. And I love the metal plates. I see them being really usefull. Interestingly I got shipping notice for the 3rd and final shippment while playing tag with UPS.

I received my third shipment today with the gorgon tiers and jade shrine.  I’m really happy I decided to splurge for the shrine in Jade.  I will need the replacement jade columns whenever they get those from the factory.  All of the other jade pieces came in the translucent green except the pillars.

The pillars were the only jade pieces I bought. Not impressed. Looking forward to replacements.

I agree the pillars look pretty terrible.  The other pieces in comparison look much better.  I’m still trying to figure out how I want to paint them without getting paint on the areas I want to remain jade. I’m also thinking of trying to paint these two columns as marble ones since they’re going to send out replacements some day.

I wish I could have picked up the other jade stuff (and magnetic trays and elevation boxes), but they weren't in the budget.

 

Tonight, I started step three. Here you can see the difference between step 2 and step 3 on the bridge pieces:
