I'm glad you're gap-filling yours; I didn't on mine, and I regret that.

 

Heads up: after Khanjira is attached to the base, he will gradually start trying to kiss the floor, due to the front of the base being so thin. I would recommend attaching it to something sturdy after the Challenge is done.

This.  I ended up tracing the base and making a thin plywood base I glued under it.  that seems to be holding up.

Lets hope you make it through without power outages or car accidents...speaking of which, the wife just got her car back today....

Did some highlighting today but my shoulders are knotted up like crazy so I'm quitting for the night. Glad you folks are enjoying her so far!

Not a whole lot of visible progress in the picture but close up there's a lot of detail showing up now that wasn't showing up before. Also I did some painting to the base.

 

At this point, I could glue the last bits on, patch whatever white bits are still showing, and be OK with what I have. My current plan is to try shading the skin some more and maybe redo the drybrushing on the armour plates (very lightly) and probably call it quits. Oh, and drybrush the stones on the base. So probably mid afternoon tomorrow I'll be done to my satisfaction.

 

For now... Supper time! And watch Return of the Jedi with the family.
