Technically Takhisis is redone, not finished.  I wound up having to do a complete strip and clean back to original factory spec and starting again from scratch.  Hence:

WHAATTTTTTTT how did you finish her so fast?!

Because this time around Takhisis got done in under 2 weeks.

I like the dretch, those models are really how I visualize them, and I love using them in campaigns.

The dragon queen is great too.  I think your challenges doing large dragons in a single week has really improved your quality at speed.

Literally, yes.  The first secret to Tak came doing the dragon from DDS2, where I realized I was overthinking the tans and underutilizing the properties of Coat D'arms to remain smooth even under abuse.  The second secret came while making my attack plan for Maal Drakkar and selecting a colour strategy.  With both of those figured out it was really just a matter of sitting down and doing it.

Yoda calls it "Do or do not".  I call it "Don't think about nothin cuz thinktime is done".

The dretch are all done in old pro paint Troll Flesh and Olive.  All the variation came from the ratio between them and whether I used yellow or very light grey for the highlight mix.  Shows how much play you can get out of just 4 colours.
