Ulric the Defiler - Vegascat rolls the bones again

I've been waiting quite a while to be able to post this project in public but had to wait as he was a Christmas present for Ub3r (though not the model he was expecting! Buwahahahahaha!).  He's Ulric the Defiler from Mierce Miniatures.  He was really a pleasure to paint and I'm thrilled with how he and his base turned out.  I feel like I leveled up a little on skin tones (well Caucasian skin tone anyway) and the base was my first real attempt to make something display quality.  My favorite bases are ones that are full of little details that catch the eye, but don't detract from the main model.  I used roots saved from when I was weeding the flower garden in front of the house that had been hung in the garage to dry.  I also used dirt for the earth, something I've done twice now and really like.  This is my first time using laser cut paper plants.  Oh, this is also the first barbarian I've ever painted.   Comments, helpful criticisms, and questions are all welcome!

HE'S EPICALLY AWESOME!! I the little vignette, it has so many cool little pieces and nuances that I find every time I look at it. Right now he's proudly displayed in my curio cabinet! THANKS AGAIN VEGASCAT!

I've had him for a really long time and have been waiting to use him in something like this.  Ironically, I also painted a tiny rat and then promptly lost him somewhere on my painting desk.
