My first mini painted in 2017. Actually, it's another long time WIP of mine, I'm happy to see it finished. The snakeman is from Mierce Miniatures and it surely has a weird name, Sss'ths'pfff or something like that (seriously though, it's Vilthiss, Champion of Khthon). Yes, I know it has no proper base, but that's beacause it will be (hopefully) part of a bigger project under the working title of Beastmen of Dark Forest. Oh, if the forum made the pic too small, try my FB page (link in the signature), like and share ;)

So....
Back when I first joined the forums, I found a thread about a certain Goblin painting a limited edition Ral Partha figure that I happened to own, but had been sitting in a box for 15-20 years due to the 'I'm not good enough' syndrome....
Well I decided that I Was Good Enough and set to work, as chronicled by this
so as at the time of being a noob arround here, I was very encouraged by the multiple responses that I got....

I finished my current semester of school a few weeks ago and wanted to ease back into painting with something simple and something from my shelf of shame. I'm not real pleased with the highlights on the cloak, overall I'm happy with him as he ended up in a nice muted tone. Feedback welcome and wanted.

So this is a Cthulhu Wars base that Vegascat sent me, (one of two), that I was painting as a piece of scatter terrain...
It was supposed to be something easy and quick to fiddle with while other things were drying....
But like so many of my projects, it kind of grew....
And a close up of the Ivy
WiP here
Thanks for looking!

So Vegas Cat sent me 2 of these, and as I am going to paint day tomorrow, I washed and Primed it, as I find that doing things that do not require finesse, helps me to get more done at paint days....
Thanks for looking!
