It's the 3rd day of the year, have you done any hobby related activities yet?

 

Does opening a package from Hasslefree count?

 

Does stuffing a box with miniatures count?

 

I am assuming trying to get a Coatl identified (on the forums) does not.

I have worked on parts of my PbPs. That is about all I have been able to do, hobbywise.

I've done some sculpting of sorts, & finished three miniatures, one of which has been mailed off to Darkest New York.

If opening a box of Reaper minis and paint that have arrived in the mail count then yes.

Also I have been reading through some of my new Kings of War rulebooks in the evenings, usually right before I fall asleep.

Saw this question a few hours ago and it kicked me out of my skyim binge long enough to finish the Yule Treant and get a couple others closer to completion. So 1 finished this year so far, 80 (20) waiting with varying degrees of patience.

Yes, trying to get everything finished for the winter exchange.

 

- Learning to do lost wax casting

I had to take an art elective at university and took jewelry making. One of the projects we did was lost wax casing. Silver was relatively cheap at the time and I still have some lying around that never got melted down and used.

Three days of drawing! The first was finishing up my anatomy course. The second was a commission (!). Today and tomorrow will be anatomy review.

Going to skool to learn anatomy seems like taking all the fun out of it.  As a believer in traditional ancient medicine, I refuse to know what things are named or what they do!

 

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm needed in Room 3 to do a whatzatectomy.

Going to skool to learn anatomy seems like taking all the fun out of it.  As a believer in traditional ancient medicine, I refuse to know what things are named or what they do!

 

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm needed in Room 3 to do a whatzatectomy.

 

That's not a bad idea! These videos are so informationally dense. 

 

But unfortunately, if I try to draw/sculpt one of your friends and their knees look like elbows and their canthus is by their stomach instead of their glabella, you'd all be yelling at me for destroying a perfectly fine body.

 

So I'm learning anatomy!

Yes, I have been working to get as much of my latest terrain project finished before the 7th as possible.  I have also started making some notes for our upcoming Gorkamorka campaign so that I can play as well as GM.  At least that is the plan.
