Normally, I'm all over the Dark Sword competition, but I've got these nice Scale 75 chibis, Bombshell babes and an awesome Reaper knight that are just begging to be have a competition job done to them.

Talon Games will be sponsoring awards for CAV themed entries in the following categories:

Best CAV Single Figure

Best CAV Squad (min four models)

Best CAV Diorama

 

Winners will each receive one our all-new and very "coveted" ;) Golden CAV Trophies (new cooler sounding name to come later!) and a 32mm resin model kit Dictator B!

Dark Sword is adding the following rules: Dark Sword Miniatures manufacturer award  prize support is not open to Dark Sword studio painters that have been paid to paint for Dark Sword. Any such entries can still compete in the overall ReaperCon painting competition, they are simply not eligible for the Dark Sword prize support listed above.

Hi, I'm not sure if I missed the rule in this anywhere, I apologize if I did....

Can minis only be entered in one contest? So obviously for the manufacture ones you need to paint the companies minis for their prizes... but say I painted a single mini for Bombshell, could I co-enter it in the Reaper painters open as well? 

Just trying to figure out how many things I'm painting :)

Competition entries are automatically entered into every category they qualify for. So a single DSM is eligible in both the reaper painter and the single DSM competition.

Oops, I knew I forgot to do something.

I know it is late notice so we are promoting as best we can. If you are going to be at ReaperCon this year and would be interested in winning up to 12 X-Cases including our soon to be release Clear X-Cases create a diorama using one or more X-Cases and/or MageCages(Ribbed variant) with your hand painted miniatures and bring it to ReaperCon to be judged for our contest. Be sure to tell everyone you know, who is going to be there, to increase the potential number of units to be won.

 

The best diorama, as judged by the official ReaperCon judges will win a number of X-Cases as follows. (All prizes will include one magnetic strip and pack of Flex Iron per unit awarded.)

• 1 unit for 2 or less entries
• 4 units for 3-6 entries 
• 12 units for more than 6 entries
