Any sense to the timing (release) of the material?  And how you are doing the release (PDF, print booklet, etc.?)

Are far as lore...a little more background on the Bonehenge Covenant please?  What is their endgame?  What are they trying to achieve in Dreadmere?  Are they interested in power, riches, knowledge...or just trying to keep the other factions from gaining too much power?  What does their HQ up in the tor look like and how is organized?  Can visitors just stroll on up?

Can't/won't comment on availability or format. I'm the wordsmyth and have little say in such high level matters. When we're ready, it'll be announced here.

Currently all factions have implied goals. The Covenant is aware of the powers moving unseen in the shadows and are looking to counter the actions of any malignant entity. Murkillor is framed as the Sauron of the Dark Moors. Covenant members are also tasked with establishing a spellcasting presence in Northern Adon to act in the same manner as the Wizards Council of the Dragonspine Sea. Preservation of lore is important but just as important keep dangerous knowledge out of the wrong hands. The Covenant is a neutral faction as such they tend towards ruthlessness because they have to be. This often leads to conflict with even the Duskwardens, the good faction in Dreadmere. They two occasionally ally but there's no trust beyond the obvious shared goals at the time of the armistice. As for the Tor, it's a subterranean complex below ancient standing stones. In actuality the standing stones above are just for show, the stones reach below ground and are far more extensive, i.e. bigger than Stonehenge. Lots of cells and laboratories, crypts, and rooms for summoning/binding Outsiders. As the Tor is in the middle of Covenant turf, which is fairly wild and overgrown/natural, there are plenty of guardians and Covenant members to prevent folks from strolling up and ringing the doorbell. As with all Faction turf, you better have a good reason for wandering that far into faction turf.

Cool, thanks. The flavor I interpreted from the Duskwarden's blurb was that they, too, could tend towards ruthlessness to achieve their goals, perhaps not even sanctioned by the faction itself by borne out of the fanaticism of some of its members.  (The impression probably lead to my "morally ambiguous" Dreadmere, where even the "good guys" can go overboard; at least, that is how I see incorporating best into my home setting.)

Hmm... hadn't thought of it before, but if Dreadmere is the lawless land it seems to be (aside from the Reeve and such "official" officials), what kind of presence do the Duskwardens have here?  I can see a few showing up on particular missions, but is there something like a chapter house or is it just the lawless frontier they have to deal with?

Honestly ReaperWolf, I don't think the anticipation could get any higher for a Dreadmere setting book what with the new Dreadmere Bones sets coming out.

How about a quick summary of the Knights of the Maggotcrown. I'm curious as to what they want since I've been dropped into that faction for the con... that and I wanna go full on Day of the Dead with the faction figure.

Yeah, there's a lotta gray in Dreadmere.

Every faction has Turf. The Duskwardens were evicted from an opera house in a daring move by the Maggotcrowns. The Duskwardens now operate out of the Silverleaves Library, a Tivallan/Gray Elvin library.

They sure can be. Yup. They're monster hunters first and foremost.

Yup, there is actually a terrapin race every year and it's a huge celebration. It usually happens just before the mating season happening in early Summer. The great beasts move at a pretty good clip and their slamming about as they take tight corners is something you wouldn't want to miss. There's lots of feasting, betting, and efforts to fix the races. People spend all year training the terrapins.

Now I kinda hope all the cargo on the Bones 4 Terrapin is a separate piece... :)

Gonna jump ship?

Wolf will just shave his legs & beard & he'll fit in.....::D:

Speaking of factions I need a new one for this year...

Also RW, how are goblins & hobgoblins & bugbears in the 'mere? Also all the talk about the terrapin is starting to really sell the Dreadmere expansion for me...^_^

No way, I'm fuzzy forever!

As for humanoids, they'd be mistrusted and the Green Sashes would keep an eye on 'em. If the humanoids wander into faction territory unanounced, initiative would be rolled. Dreadmere isn't Skullport. It's still part of the 7th Margraives domain, and by extension part of the Ritterlich Confederation. There's no effort to integrate savage and rapacious species prone to marauding and wanton destruction. Everybody is well aware of the humanoid hoard sweeping down through Kargiir and into Anhur. Fully 2/3 of Anhur is held by Gragg Elfslayer. Humanoids who mind their own business, do their trading, and then depart quietly and quickly (before nightfall) will likely be allowed to do so in peace but if they stick around, raise a fuss, or give anybody the stinkeye, the humanoids will leave in pieces.
