Was there a Paladin without Chain Mail?

 

Friend handed this to me, said it was the model that started it all. He has picked up thousands of painted models ever since, the lifetime collection is mind boggling.

Felt like an honor to paint up especially after seen so many great paint jobs completed on models he owns.

 

I tried to give it a little something extra here and there, hope he likes it. An older model, smaller than reapers stuff, but still a nice model....It has a realistic feel to it for me, I think it is the frying and bedroll on his back. He might be good as a tall Halfling or Gnome Pally. As for the paintjob, most excellent! Especially the Freehand work.

Love what you have done here.  Hate the small pictures.  If i am going to steal.. ahem, LEARN from you, i want to see more.

 

Specifically i love what you did to distress the backpack and the high contrast edging in general and i wanted to study it closer.
