As for already ramping up, I think there was enough initial excitement that they figured they could spread them apart earlier on.  This may also have something to do with the fact that the to-fund cost was higher than any previous CMON game (that I can find).

Those come up one by one as we unlock things.  Seems to be how CMON is running their campaigns now.  Never see a long list of stretch goals.  Just the next one... though there will sometimes be hints, especially once we reach the doldrums...

 

 

I'd expect this to be more like Blood Rage (it had two add ons and one was an art book) for add ons rather than Massive Darkness. There might be one or two things, but for the most part everything will be included in the pledge.

 

 

The reason they gave for the higher to fund cost is that they are trying a more complicated type of mold that will allow for more detail, but at a higher cost.

Oh man am I glad to read this. I was concerned with this and Village Attacks happening at the same time, and the PM for Vampire Hunters launching soon, that I'd be in big trouble.

I'm still on a KoD  imposed diet, from KS. 

I actually do need some Chinese figures for a campaign,  but it ran for 3 weeks and is now on hiatus,

minis a year from now won't help.  If the campaign had not gone on break last week I would have ordered from a 2015  KS, now in a web store.

You know? It's odd, but I actually like the new 3d sculpt for the Fox Daimyo better than his concept art. The face and beard seem to fit better in the sculpted version.

and this KS keeps growing!  New Kami to be opened with the rest coming as future SGs...  anticipation for CMON Expo to see some of the sculpts is killing me!

As much as I like some of the sculpts I don't think this is a game I'd ever play.  My monies seem to be destined for other KS projects.

Same here. A lot of the sculpts truly are lovely. I just don't think I'd ever play the game either. Even though the game probably very well designed it doesn't really seem like my kinda thing. The sad thing is, if I find out later that I'm wrong and the game play really is right for me, I'd almost certainly not buy it later. There are too many interesting figures that are KS exclusive. Makes it tough when you know what you'd be missing.

I backed Blood Rage tough I was not interested in the game. I backed Conan, though I was not interested in the game. I backed Mythic Battles ... you get the drift.

I'm also backing this ... and guess what? I'm not interested in the game. But miniatures look nice and even without the game, they are worth the money in my eyes.

As KS shows every day, there are always more nice miniatures in the works and I don't have unlimited funds.  If I'm not playing I'd rather spend my money on metal or resin.

There's still a couple weeks to decide on this one, and the deal keeps on getting better. I'll hold out until I'm sure I have the disposable money to dispose of that money.

I'm feeling this way too. Bones 4 is upcoming, we need to buy a new mattress, it's not a game we're gonna play.... I'm thinking I'm gonna cancel, despite the neat dragons.
