Wow! Your hours of effort really shows in your results.  That is beautiful!

You might look at clear acrylic flight stands (for mounting aircraft using in gaming) to use as a base for the figure.

And welcome to the forum! You're off to a great start!

Very, very cool start! That's one of my favorite minis, and I haven't touched it yet, because this is how I want it to look!

(it will not look that way if I paint it.)

Fantastic work! I like the eyes, the ribbing on the fins, and the really nice edge highlighting on his nose and beside the dorsal fin.

For a new painter, your off to a great start - your Goroloth is fantastic! Great work!

Re painting tips, there's loads of good advice on these very forums & everyone is very friendly & helpful. Try following some members "WIP's" (work in progress) topics/posts - they can give you an interesting insight into members working practices which you can maybe learn from & adapt to your own style. There's also loads of tutorials etc on Youtube.

It's that time of year for Orcs...but I already did that.  So it's time to get spooky instead!

Hello everyone, here are more pictures of my entry in the 18th Quarterly Contest. This is 77704, Cave Troll sculpted by Bobby Jackson. Congrats to the winners and everyone who participated. A big thank you to Reaper for organizing this colorful contest and 54 times thank you to those who voted for my creature.

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person).

I've been wanting to do a group/series of hellborn/tiefling figures for fun but seems whenever I went to order something they would slip my mind and I get something else. Ah but reaper cursed me and gave me a free hellborn figure and now I can tell I'm gonna be ruined.

Painting at least one wizard a month is a requirement is it not? When I saw this fig I just luved the Arabian vibe I got off it.
