Trexy
I just got The Big Dance and CAV rule book , I noticed that several drawing of pilots appeared to be elf like. I was wondering who they were since the rule book never stated what the factions looked like . Is Reaper going to come out with any books on those alien races ? Pingo
I'm not familiar with the books, but that might be the Rach. They are supposed to be catlike (or descended from cats or something like that), and yep, they look like space elves. They like the color red. Reaper has one 28mm Rach figure. Some of us are hoping for more. Club
I just got The Big Dance and CAV rule book , Which Cav rulebook edition? Because SO, the latest edition, has a couple pages of decent physical description of who is who. and elf is probably Adon, Drow would be Almirithil, new to the new edition.
Trexy
I have the June 2001 edition . What is the date of the latest edition .
Maredudd
If I recall correctly, don't the Adonese and Rach come from the same planet? Or was that the Malvernis?
Maredudd
Got it wrong both times. The Adonesse and Ritterlich shared home worlds. Edited February 12, 2017 by Maredudd
Vil-hatarn
Only in the original rules IIRC. Ritterlich have their own homeworld following the C:SO retcons.
Maredudd
Yep, I was aware of the changes in C:SO. I checked the CAV:SO rule book and it is the Adoneese that bare a strong resemblance to elves. The Rach do have pointed ears, but they look less elven and more demonic draconic . . . Sergeant_Crunch
Adonese = space elves Ritterlich = space Germanic vampires Rach = feline descended not-Klingons Malvernis = not sure what their genetic background is off the top of my head, but space religious fanatics Templar = space knights Terrans = space legionnaires
Vil-hatarn
Malvernis = lizard people (technically egg-laying mammals) Also of note, the Templar are an organization, not a race; their citizens are predominantly Adonese and Terran.
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted February 17, 2017 Moderator Share Posted February 17, 2017 Now I'd like figures of all these races ... So would I.
Sergeant_Crunch
Now I'd like figures of all these races ... So would I. There's some in Chronoscope. The Rach and Malvernians have a sculpt each. The first NOVA Security Guard sculpt was supposed to be a Ritterlich trooper for a game that never happened.
