These are all so beautifully done!

 

As for the Drow, I love the tenderness, if that's the word, of the highlights, how they are breathed on with such care.  The edges of the scales on his armor leap out, but there are also the soft lights on his cape and shoes and the bridge of his nose and nostrils.  That subtle glimpse of teeth.  And that tiny, exquisite gem on the back of his gauntlet.

 

The other three are delightful also.  I'd like to single out the Sea Elf, who you have painted entirely in foggy shades of grey and yet kept distinct and clear.

Maybe the word you're looking for is subtlety? Thanks for all the kind words and the observations, I wish I would have done any of them actually on purpose but that's just how I paint.

Oddly enough my favorite is the female  but it's probably because I like painting ladies!
