Perilous Vistas
The latest additions to the Perilous Vistas: Mountains of Madness and Marshes of Malice are environment sourcebooks that delve into the foreboding mountains and explore the mysterious wetlands respectively.
The Perilous Vistas line brings the great outdoors to life. Like their predecessors, the highly acclaimed Dunes of Desolation and Fields of Blood, Mountains of Madness and Marshes of Malice are black and white, 225+ page supplements that build upon real world details and their gaming applications to provide all of the essentials and extras to run campaigns set in one of these remarkable biomes.
These huge Tomes are all well-researched and use real-world information tailored to meet fantasy roleplaying rules that create a feel of "really being there" in each terrain type. For example, we engaged a professional mountain guide, Nate Paul, to work with us on Mountains--so the travel and skill rules were in part developed by a real-life mountaineer!

 Mountains of Madness
Mountains of Madness naturally focuses its attention on mountains, the mighty, stone behemoths that soar into the heavens. In particular, it details the Stoneheart Mountains, renowned as the spine of the Lost Lands Campaign Setting and the backdrop for other legendary adventures including The Slumbering Tsar Saga and Sword of Air, all from Frog God Games.

 Marshes of Malice

Marshes of Malice examines the semi-aquatic world that straddles the open seas and the wholly terrestrial with special emphasis on previously unexplored or underdeveloped regions in the Lost Lands Campaign Setting. Both supplements introduce new natural and manmade hazards, innovative feats, equipment, alchemical substances, magic items, spells and archetypes that can aid or hinder brave mountaineers aspiring to conquer the majestic peaks and intrepid adventurers endeavoring to tame the feral wetlands. Wondrous illustrations accompany the frightful, new denizens that call these lands home.

Thanks Darsc Zacal, I'll have to remember that for the future.

Recent update, has given synopis of the three adventures from Marshes of Madness.

Hunter's Game

The first adventure is Hunter's Game. It's for 4th level characters, and is set in a hunting lodge which contains a small animal exhibit on the premises. What starts out as a detective story ultimately turns into a search and rescue mission featuring an intriguing owner/guide, his staff, and the resident animals that dwell within his exhibits along with the denizens that stalk the wetlands around it.

Fishers of Men

"Fishers of Men", the second adventure brings us back to the Dragonmarsh Lowlands and potentially an encounter with some old favorites that skulk around those marshes. There's a few tie-ins to other Frog God Games' classics in this 6th level adventure, including some loose connections to Rappan Athuk. In this story, a celebrity chef has gone missing from his state of the art and heavily guarded oyster farm dead smack in the middle of this forsaken marsh. (Don't worry, there's a very good reason why he built it there.) When the PCs arrive to investigate, without giving away any spoilers, let's just say that dinner sometimes has a way of biting back.

Forgive and Regret

The darkest and most tragic of the trio is "Forgive and Regret". Set in the bleak Wytch's Bog, this freeform 8th level adventure features multiple villains locked in a stalemate for dominion over this festering bog. For more than a century, one of these monstrosities defended the people who live here, thanks to their ancestors' complicity in the heinous atrocity that he committed many years ago. However, his boundless despair and a surreptitious discovery has changed this dynamic for the worse, leaving the community's survival hanging in the balance.

Hello all.

Here's a recent update from Frog God.

First is something everyone will get FREE at funding, followed by a couple new add-ons...

Glades of Death Bonus

7bc8f26331f94336708ac2ff8d133993_origina

A Druid's Revenge Can your PCs make it through the forest on the way to their final destination? Will they be ensnarled in the mystery of dreaded ghoul wolves, or become entangled in a battle between druids and insects that is slowly destroying a small logging village in their way? Are your PCs strong enough to enter the Canyons of Arcuri? Perhaps, they are even bold enough to enter the private, forested demiplane of the mad druid Niavark. Read the Leaves Make PCs fear the forest! Glades of Death™ contains new spells, new feats, and a new look at skills and how to use them in the wilderness. Guidelines for the rapid creation of new fantasy forests are also provided along with new monsters and four generic forest-based adventures designed to help bring a campaign out of the dungeon and into the wilderness.

Stoneheart Valley

$13 Hardcover+PDF/$10 PDF

During the kickstarter we are having a special price for Stoneheart Valley. Hardcovers are $13 with your pledge (coming, as all of our books do, with the PDF). The PDF alone is also reduced to $10 for Kickstarter backers.

From Bill Webb and Clark Peterson's home campaign comes the old-school setting of The Lost Lands: Stoneheart Valley. For over a decade, fans of Necromancer Games and Frog God Games have been asking to see the world behind the adventures. And at long last, here is where it all began, in the Stoneheart Valley near the town of Fairhill. This mini-campaign was originally presented to the fans of Necromancer Games in three separate modules: "The Wizard's Amulet", "The Crucible of Freya", and "The Tomb of Abysthor". Frog God Games has taken the full series from the 3E version plus supplemental material previously available only online, and converted it all to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game system.

Dead Man's Chest for Pathfinder Softcover

b50f43dfdf11d1999cbe6204b364e7f6_origina

$28 Softcover*+PDF/ $8 PDF

A Treasury of Nautical Lore No place offers more adventure than the ocean. No dungeon is as deep, no jungle as full of exotic and dangerous life. Most folk spend their entire lives on dry ground, unaware that entire civilizations thrive beneath the waves, sometimes far more ancient and steeped in mystery than any on the world's upper surface.

Though player characters (PCs) have long grown familiar with the air-breathing world above, seldom do they venture into the depths, and when they do, they discover wonders they never dreamed exisited. The ocean offers a venue for adventure that is at once alien and appealing. Strange things exist down there, as perilous as they are compelling. Maritime Adventures Dead Man's Chest lays bare the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it. Within these pages are detailed rules for ship movement, as well as guidelines for underwater exploration, and three complete maritime adventures. At last there is a comprehensive source for sailing and the sea-packed with over 100 new magic items, monsters, feats, prestige classes, and spells.

*at $40k it becomes a hardcover at the same price

Stretch goals announced!  Actually it's not that surprising, now that the book is now less then 2k from funding.

At 22k they will release a teaser for the next book

At 26k a free copy of the Mother of All Encounter tables. Most likely a PDF only, but the book is always fun to plop down in front of your gaming group.

Anyway, here is a link to the update in question. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/froggodgames/perilous-vistas-two-new-environment-books-for-path/posts/1835596

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
