Jabberwocky
Wise Reaperpeeps: Quick question regarding the various spider sizes. Which spider would be best to fit on a 40 or 50mm base? Bones would be preferable, but metal works as well. I took a look at the spider models available, but couldn't really tell on most of them what would fill up a larger base well. Thank you! alchemist
I'm not sure what would fit best in Bones, but in metal 02417 fits on a 50mm base. Spoiler

Reveal hidden contents Interesting. Those look great. I based mine very comfortably on 40mm bases, as I had posed them with front legs in the air as if to strike, and back legs closer to the body for support. Never thought to flatten them, but they do look good that way.

Crowley
Interestingly Arachnid doesn't bring up any of the scorpion minis...
Kang
People don't realize scorpions are arachnids, they assume they are insects because they only see the stinger and claws and never get around to counting legs. I gave "arachnid" as a clue for "scorpion" in a recent game of Codenames with some pretty bright players, and they were this close (makes teeny tiny fingers) to guessing "octopus" instead! I didn't tag it, but I didn't delete your post either, since I don't have that power. Learned something new today. I do think most people would be confused having their arachnid search also bring up scorpions.

There, now you've learned something else! Edited April 9, 2017 by David Brawley
