The Old Lizard painted up SPLENDIDLY, AND the base is BEAUTIFUL. I love the flower; it seems like he is defending it.  VERY NICELY DONE!

Thank you Al!

He IS kinda fond of his garden....

The flower is made up of two different pieces of plastic plant.

A good cheap source of terrain stuff.

Great work! The colours all come together beautifully, definitely feels like he's in the jungle.

Great job! Loving the skin colour & turtle shield.

Never come between an Iguana Warrior & his giant daisy......

Thanks!

The Shield was a little experiment with several colours and washes...

Great paint job on him!

Thank you!

Experimenting with the plastic plants and driftwood was fun, expect more bases like his in the Lost World among the Jungle and Lizard City bases soon.

These old Grenadier sculpts are pretty nice too. Still available through Mirlinton. I got this one from a BOG last year.

I noticed a white thingie in the pics on the plastic flower.

That's a hair from Brutus, it is removed.

So it was not a part of the mini....should somebody wonder..

A friend with a 3D printer made this for me. I spent about an hour painting it, and it's now an NPC in my Eberron campaign.

Painting was odd because it's not a very clean print, there are lots of little fibers and print lines on it which obscure detail. I painted very quickly with a lot of wet in wet blending. I'm quite happy with the result given the amount of time it took and the nice-at-arm's-length blending.

My friend is continuing to work with the printer, so eventually he's going to print this up again at a higher quality.

The design is on Thingiverse if you like it.

I am running a D&D Noble Gala for my Elder Spawns game.
Once the party gets rolling the dinosaurs are going to show up.

These are speedpainted - but as a group, less than 5 hours total.
they are color-coded with the eyes matching the colors on base.

This is the Wizard from Grenadier’s Wizards box set circa 1980. Most of the minis from the set were called variations like Sorcerer, Illusionist, Magician, and Warlock. But there are also 2 druids and a cleric included.

I painted all the minis from the set in my teens, then wanted to repaint them in my early 20’s so I had my friend sandblast(!) the paint off. That eroded much of the detail. So the detail in the beard, hands, imp, is almost all painted in.

These HeartBreaker minis were the first ones I bought that weren't part of a boardgame, or Warhammer starter set. Years ago I had a fair sized Undead army, and thru the magic of Simple Green, the time has come to rebuild and repaint that army.

Later they were reinforced with these friendly fellows from Grenadier.

This time around, I built them a unit tray from balsa wood, insulation foam, and wood putty.

This the bonus figure that came in Grenadier Dragon Lords 9602 Red Dragon II, circa 1989.  See my work on the Dragon here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/82205-grenadier-9602-red-dragon-ii/

This guy mimics the dragon’s colors, but not very well. Overall a pretty plain mini. Im terrible with reds. Damned colorblindness...
