So....

Last Decemeber while I was Xmas shopping for the pets, I ran across an AKC chew toy platypus...

And, Being me, I knew that it was a DrowcedentTM in the making....

So my daughter Alsnia, knitted the scarf, we mad the hat from blue insulation foam and putty, and I did the monocle from a split ring for keys, a piece of jewelry chain, and some blister plastic.

I sewed everything in place, (Be careful of the stitching!!!! as I am out of practice...) and hot glued the hat on...

 

And it was delivered today, and I just got a pm from pcktlnt, so I can show him off now!

 

We need to have a gathering of plushies at Reapercon this year....

oh, and since it was a chew toy, it has a 'squeaker' inside it, and as our dog regularly evicerates her chew toys, I have seen what these things look like, a small plastic squeeze bulb of a thing...

 

I wracked my brain cell VERY HARD to try to figure out a way to make the thing spray glitter.....

 

(That's a joke, but I did really think about it....)

      So I found these guys at the last NEMPA paint day a I attended a few years back, and decided to paint them up...
      I have many other orcs from this line, but not these guys...
      I even have the Polly S Armor Dark Green paint I used on the others back in High School!

      So these guys got their bases done, and they only need to be airbrushed to get rid of extraneous stuff, but they are DONE.
      Another blister leaves the shelf of shame in Triumph!
      I noticed that the cross ties on the crossbowman's pants didn't get done...(oopsie) so tomorrow first thing
