I embedded the golden/Bronze Python.

Any suggestions? Gold, Bronze maybe Patina.

I actually REALLY like the color that it is now.

I don't know what the plans are for the other colors and how it will mesh with what you have planned but I think it looks good as is.

Of course if you are really going for the worshiped idol I can see why you would want to go with a fancy gold or something...

Yeah, still think it could work as is.

Thx, thing is the focus should be on the Tanith snake.

The other one looks too much alive.

I would go with a gold flake look.    Have the basic stone underneath with gold showing but having some sections rubbed off exposing the core structure.  (the aged look)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

Do you have a picture of something like that?

That is true....Brass'bronze then, with verdigris.  Lots of verdigris.  Almost to the point of blending in with the forest around it all.

Just a thought, but you might help that image if you add some sort of adornments to the skulls, like gems, simple crowns, or even just colorful symbols painted on them;  like they are loved and honored. And paint them as if they are polished and cared for , not the browns and yellows of rotting skulls you usually see on evil architecture.

Chris Palmer made this suggestion in my Lost World thread.

After thinking this through I decided to paint the skulls in Dias de los Muertos style..

Very colourful.
