I don't know what the plans are for the other colors and how it will mesh with what you have planned but I think it looks good as is.

Thx, thing is the focus should be on the Tanith snake.

The other one looks too much alive.

I would go with a gold flake look.    Have the basic stone underneath with gold showing but having some sections rubbed off exposing the core structure.  (the aged look)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

That is true....Brass'bronze then, with verdigris.  Lots of verdigris.  Almost to the point of blending in with the forest around it all.

I have started to paint the effigy.

Although I like the gold flake idea, I will use that on something else.

I think it will not sit well with the coloured skulls.

This will be more bronze / patina.
