I removed the broccoli base from the Seer. She will act as Alsnia the High Priestess of Tanith.

Then I used my Aztec Rolling Pin and pressed it into the foam from the altar.

Heavy on the sides and less so on the floor, this way the stone engravings look like they faded here and there.

I also had chipped some stones on the stairs etc.

Hit the whole thing first with Reaper Brown Liner, then Scale 75 Iroko.

A little mock up to see how it will look...

Great project; really like where this is going. Only thing I can say is that your torches need black smudges going up the wall from the carbon.

Yes, I had been thinking about that.

I'm not sure were to place the black smudges.

Just behind the flames or all the way up?

just wondering if the OSL should be a bit more wide spread....

Are you envisioning this a something outside? In a cave?

Might try to google images of burning torches for inspiration / reference?

I will search. Until now I didn't see much useful pics.

It is meant to be outside, torches are more ceremonial, it isn't night per se.

( don't want to paint it all very dark).

You have yourself a centerpiece with this one. The idea of the Snake Goddess breaking free of the statue is BRILLIANTBEAUTIFULLY executed, & VERY imaginative.

That you could come up with such a masterful creation so early in your scenery building career makes your future projects a mind boggling prospect. OUTSTANDING WORK!
