Do you see the piece of stoneworks on her head?

That's where I will put a tiny crown of flowers, when she is painted.

 

The piece is far from done however,..much to do...much to do...

Constrictor, no large fangs.

 

Tanith is an Anaconda toy model, Anacondas crush their prey and swallow it whole.

Boa's have some fangs but not as pronounced as a Viper who needs to inject venom.

 

A while ago @knarthex send me a box of goodies.

 

Today I clipped some floral wire in halves, and made vines.

 

I used the flock George sent me, and one of the wooden spatulas as a tool to apply PVA and flock to them.

Now drying and waiting for a second layer if nessecary.

 

What do you think?

I intend to place them as hanging from the background of the Altar.

Did I send you some of the "Swampy Bog" mix? maybe add some of that too?

I might apply that as a second layer, but only here and there.

 

I think it will be a good recipe for jungle vines and stuff.

I usually do a dry brush over the foliage for greater depth of color & to pick out all the little leaves. It works nicely.

Anyway..

I painted Tanith and did some work on the ceramics.

@knarthex provided some nice moss mixes, I used two of them and added the first vegetation.

 

Also glued and pinned the backdrop on.

Alsnia got some basecoats.

 

I'm still thinking about which treasures I will put on the altar, so working on a few of them.

On that note..added vines, added Tilandsia from the garden centre, painted that scale 75 Inktense Chestnut.

Added more of George's awesome mossy mixes.

 

And we have more jungle...
