I would say the DS scenery material is similar to Lego plastic. i.e. almost indestructible

I would not be too worried about anthing here not standing up to normal use.

Ronnie did a video where he hit the terrain with a hammer to show it wouldn't break...

On one of the Beast of Wars weekender shows some one from Mantic, not Ronnie, hit some of the Dungeon Saga terrain with a hammer.

 

Dont think I'd want to do that with mine, but it is a very durable plastic. I'd say it's a bit different plastic  than what's in The Walking Dead terrain.

 

I've seen different people from Mantic say different things on the plastic that will be used though.

I've been very happy with the durability of my dungeon saga doors and furniture.  So I'm not worried about durability.  I'm confident what they choose will stand up to general gamer (and nephew) abuse.

I've only seen the WD figures, but it's harder plastic than Bones.

Heh - it is what happens when two enablers are married.... (Our Bones III orders came to over $900 when we put them together.... With the wee one aboot, we will be more cautious, this time around - emergencies can happen.)

 

It is now more likely that we will get three Crates, and a bunch of Libraries - she wants to do a permanent build.

 

I do not know what she has planned, but I look forward to finding out. (But if she asks for help painting up a wizard that looks like Alice Cooper... I won't be all that surprised.)

somebody answered in the comment section concerning the differences in material between DS und TWD:

 

"the TWD plastic is harder while the DS stuff has more bend to it. Both are excellent at holding finer details, but TWD is closer to wargamer mini plastic."

Is there any sort of monster that poses as an animal skin rug, then turns back into the living critter to sneak attack? it seems like that would be a D&D thing.
