I also like the idea of what you see is what you get. I feel you can set the mood, and hide some easter eggs, and do some other things that communicate a description and a feel of the room without having to read a wall of text to set the scene.

 

(Easter eggs, like a barrel that is newer looking hidden in with all the old barrels, being the barrel that the monsters hide their treasures in., and etc. )

SHIPPING

Shipping is NOT included in your pledge and will be calculated once the campaign has completed. You will be charged during the Pledge Manager for shipping.

However, if you wish to add the funds to shipping for your pledge now, in preparation for the Pledge Manager, we currently estimate that the shipping costs for the pledges will be approximately:

Single TerrainCrate - UK $6, Europe $8, North America $8 and Rest of World $15

Two TerrainCrates bundle - UK $10, Europe $15, North America $15 and Rest of World $25

Three TerrainCrate bundle - UK $12, Europe $18, North America $18 and Rest of World $30

All add-ons outside the core pledges will have their shipping calculated and charged in the Pledge Manager after the campaign has finished.

The Auld Grump - on the other hand, the dungeon that I am designing for the kids game, that uses barricades like the ones from this Kickstarter... that is something that I am doing to myself.... To be fair - I would not have thought about this dungeon if I had not seen those barricades - they are going to be discovering why goblins can be more deadly than dragons, when they are on their home turf. (I don't have any where near enough Kobolds to pull a full Tucker.)

Hmm. At the rate they're adding stuff, ask them for an updated quote. I've yet to find estimated shipping costs to be accurate for a KS that knocks down a lot of SG's. Just like the estimated delivery date, creators don't know how much stuff they'll be making, so don't have a good way to estimate shipping. Many creators end up raising shipping prices, even if they absorb part of the cost.

i mostl;y just cannot pay the same amount i'm pledging. If it starts climbing to around $50 even, that'll be a lot for shipping thati don't think i can do

Not sure ... I feel like they have added and are still adding multiples of certain pieces to a crate / to a set that are redundant whereas at the same time pieces you really could use more of remain single pieces. I'm not going to build a torture room for my games that has two Iron Maidens, for example, but two cages could easily be useful.
