Wish I had jumped on the band wagon... Anyone knows when thse will be available for purchase? I'm figuring after the delivery of the KS but it could be weeks? months?

According to their end of the year blog posts the first of them will be available in "early 2018". Since they were more specific for other upcoming items, I suspect they are not yet certain when it's coming.

I think Backer Kit still has the sets up for preorder - not as cheap, $75 US instead of $60 US, let me check.

 

They do! So, you can still hang on to the tailgate, even if you can't jump on the wagon.

Since it allows for post kickstarter purchases and addons, it would be a no-no.

Eh, wait for retail. After the Star Saga furniture plastics, you might want to know how good the terrain crate plastic is. Also, of course, the OLGS will have the accessories at a discount, you can choose which sets you want, and have a free shipping threshold.

I have had a number of kickstarters deliver recently. 

 

If this one drops too soon, I might have some explaining to do. 

 

However, I think it all will get better after Friday. (when the husband gets evidence of money coming in.)

No and yes. Expect a 20%+ discount at the OLGS (less than KS discount) and higher discounts at holiday and clearance sales (greater than KS discount), if they occur, but for the base product, not the SG's. I've noticed that with KS, if you don't mind waiting a few years for a sale for the base game (and don't mind if it's never on sale), you can get it *much* cheaper than KS backers did. Of course, they'll get their games before you will. I just picked up Vast and Near and Far at half off, but Vast was released two years ago, and Near and Far last year (okay, maybe not years...!).

Just got an email update this morning that backers had 48 hours to finalize their address, and that they were on track for delivery in MAY.  So I seriously doubt they've started shipping anything to anyone.
